UPSC CDS Eligibility 2019, CDS Education Qualification Age Limit 2019: – The Combined Defense Services Examination 2019 (CDS) Exam is held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Combined Defense Services Exam is conducted in different area across the Country. Combined Defense Services Exam is held two times in a year.
First level Combined Defense Services Exam (CDS I) of exam held in February and second level Combined Defense Services Exam (CDS II) conducted in November. UPSC CDS Eligibility 2019
- i) For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: A candidate should have Degree from a acknowledged university/board or equivalent
- ii) For Indian Naval Academy: the applicants should have their Degree in Engineering from a recognized board/University/Institution
iii) For Air Force Academy: It is necessary for a candidate to have Degree of a well-known University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering
All the Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to put forward their valid proof of graduation provisional certificate on the date of beginning of the SSB interview at the SSB.
For Combine Defense Service Exam, Candidate can be from any stream but for entry to Air Force and Navy, candidates should have studied physics and mathematics and chemistry up to 12 standards.
All the applicants who are studying for the final year degree course and have not passed to the final year degree examination yet, they can apply too but they will be required to subject proof of passing the degree examination to complete the Army Head Quarter/Rtd CDSE Entry, West Bloc III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.
Eligibility of Age Limits, Sex & Marital Status:
(i) For IMA – male candidates who are Unmarried should not be born earlier than 02nd January 1995 and not later than 01st January 2000 those are eligible.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy -Male candidates who are born not earlier than 02nd January 1995 and not later than 01st January 2000 are eligible for Indian Naval Academy.
(iii) For Air Force Academy – Candidates who are willing to apply for Air Force born not earlier than 02nd January 1995 and not later than 01st January 1999 are eligible for Air force academy.
(iv) For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men) Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 02nd January 1995 and not later than 01st January 2001 only are eligible for the Officers Tanning Academy
(v) For Officers’ Training Academy -(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) women who are not married , and widows who have not married again and divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are also eligible; they all should have been born not before 02nd January 1994 and not after than 01st January 2000.
